StrongDM’s unique Infrastructure Access Platform has been looking for a solution to make the link building process more efficient.
In the nine months strongDM has been using Respona, they have been able to reduce the time it takes to perform link building outreach by 85%. With the time they’ve been able to save, they have made more time for managing relationships into backlinks from hundreds of referring domains with a domain rating of 60 or more.

strongDM's Needs
strongDM needed a way to conduct link building at scale while still being able to personalize their link building pitches without losing too much time on it, and Respona helped them achieve just that.
Other tools that Komron tried prior to Respona involved too much manual work, and did not help him scale the link building process to the desired level.
Having previously used tools like MailChimp and Mailshake, Komron already had experience with link building, but never did it at scale before Respona.
How strongDM Used Respona
Currently, Komron is the sole team member that’s using Respona on a weekly basis at strongDM.
When asked about the singular featured that they liked, Komron struggled to pick just one:
“Honestly, everything at this point. We did have some issues with files not being read, but the support team has been extremely responsive and helpful. In terms of what works well specifically, I can’t really pinpoint it. Everything is working smoothly.”
However, the article snippet personalization feature stood out to strongDM’s team.
“One of the features that stood out to us initially was the fact that we could actually get certain snippets from the text and paste them in the emails to help us personalize the messages that way. We didn’t have to go back and forth, so that was really big for us initially. That personal touch was definitely something that stood out for us”
When asked if Respona has met Komron’s expectations, they replied that:
“Absolutely. We’ve been able to increase our traffic by 50% since we’ve started using Respona. We increased visibility by 100%, and other metrics as well. It has been overall a very positive experience for us.”
Even though the team hasn’t had the resources to utilize the tool to its full potential, the impact that it had on their business was significant:
“We haven’t had the chance to use it to maximum capacity at this point, but even to the little capacity that we’ve used it, it has been amazing.”
In the eight months that Komron has been using Respona, he has managed to gain around 100 referring domains, with multiple backlinks from each:
“With the partnerships that we’ve built with Respona, we built close to a hundred referring domains with an average Domain Rating of 67-68.”
As well as grow their Domain Rating to 57:
“We actually increased our website’s Domain Rating as well by about eight points since we started using Respona as well.”
Link building was not the only one of Komron’s responsibilities at strongDM. According to him, the biggest benefit of Respona was the amount of time it saved him on link building, allowing him to focus on other efforts as well:
“There have been a lot of other efforts that we’ve done, but link building has been, undoubtedly, a huge part of it, and Respona was at the core. Just because we didn’t have to spend the time organizing different tools and juggling them, managing our time, and just knowing that Respona is there to ease through the process in one platform. That just saved us a ton of time, focusing on other things. I think saving time has been the biggest benefit of Respona for us.”
In fact, Respona has helped Komron save 85% of the time they estimated would need to be spent on link building:
