Intro

The goal of the product alternatives strategy is to get mentioned on blog posts listing alternatives to your competitors’ offerings.

As an example, to get exposure for Respona, we will be reaching out to sites that have listed alternatives for another product in our industry, Ahrefs.

Discovery

  1. In the first two fields, enter your company name and domain.
  2. Do the same but for your competitor in the next two fields.

In the unique aspect of your company field, briefly describe how your product/service compares to the competitor your prospect is mentioning, and why they should mention you alongside them.

In the incentive field, tell the prospect what they will be getting from adding you to their content.
